Tree of Voices is an interactive media installation by Moon-Yeol Jung that explores the relationship between humans, technology, and nature through responsive light and sound.
As an installation assistant, I participated in the fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation of the artwork. The project involved setting up and organizing large-scale physical components, including fiber optics, LED elements, electronic systems, and exhibition structures, while ensuring the stability and functionality of the interactive experience. Through this process, I gained hands-on experience in the production and deployment of media art installations, collaborating closely with artists and technical team members to translate a complex interactive concept into a functioning exhibition environment.
Working on Sound Tree provided valuable insight into the practical challenges of large-scale media art production, from technical setup and spatial arrangement to exhibition preparation and audience experience design.
